In Jan 2021 we had 499 subscribers to the PNA newsletter and less than 50% (248) opening/reading it. Now, Jan 2024 we have 850 subscribers and 71% (604) opening/reading it.
Why readership of our newsletter is important: It’s the fastest and easiest way to share news and information with our neighbors in a timely matter. It also allows greater participation and advance notice of events.
Palisades Neighborhood Assoc. (PNA) efforts to increase subscribers starting In Feb 2021:
- Consistently sending out newsletter w/up-to-date info
- Posting signs around the neighborhood encouraging subscribers
- Handing out flyers encouraging neighbors to subscribe
- Adding Calls-to-Action on the website and newsletter
- PNA Board conducted door to door campaigns
- Consistently updating the PNA website to include more relevant and up-to-date information
- Announcements and flyers at every PNA sponsored event
- Posting on NextDoor and, recently, PNA Facebook group
